AT TOKYO Shifts all its Electrical Power
to Net-Zero Carbon Energy for Rack Colocation/Housing
and Premium Rack Colocation Services from April


AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquartered in Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer, Akira Nakamura, and hereinafter referred to as “AT TOKYO”) is delighted to announce its total transition to net-zero carbon energy (*1) for all electric power used in AT TOKYO’s Rack Colocation/Housing and Premium Rack Colocation services (equivalent to approximately 24 million kWh annually), commencing in April 2023.

This important milestone is part of AT TOKYO’s progress to achieve 100% sustainable energy for its data center operations, following the introduction of its Customer Sustainability Support Program in October 2022, leveraging the “Green Basic Plan” (*2) provided by TEPCO Energy Partner, Incorporated.

Applicable Services: ・Rack Colocation/Housing Service
・Premium Rack Colocation Service
Provision Details: The electric power source used will be 100% net-zero carbon energy

Notes:
•Customers to be contracted for the services after April 2023 will, in principle, receive the services with net-zero carbon energy, and will be provided with tracking information upon request.
•There may be cases where the environmental value cannot be provided depending on the customer’s terms of contract. Please contact us for details.
•There may be cases where the environmental value cannot be procured due to circumstances of the renewable energy value trading market, etc.



AT TOKYO, a member of SECOM Group, aspires to realizing 100% renewable energy data center operations, supporting the achievement of a carbon neutral society (*3).




*1 Net-zero carbon energy:
Neutralizing the amount of CO2 emissions from electricity consumption with the total environmental values derived from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, or hydroelectric power.

*2 Green Basic Plan:
A plan that neutralizes the amount of CO2 emissions by using non-fossil fuel energy certificates derived from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind power, etc., and realizes virtually zero carbon emissions.
