AT TOKYO and Zadara Jointly Launch
ATBeX-Connected Zadara Cloud Region
Supporting AI and Sovereign Cloud Demand in Japan

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President & Chief Executive Officer: Tatsuya Izumida; hereinafter “AT TOKYO”) and Zadara K.K. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; a subsidiary of Zadara Inc. [President & Chief Executive Officer: Yoram Novick], hereinafter “Zadara”) have entered into a strategic partnership to launch the AT TOKYO region of Zadara Cloud at AT TOKYO data centers. The service, branded as “ATBeX Edge Compute powered by Zadara,” is scheduled to be available in August 2026.

Background

AT TOKYO has formed an ecosystem comprising more than 100 domestic and international network operators and cloud service providers. Through ATBeX, its network fabric service that enables flexible and highly reliable private connectivity, AT TOKYO provides an interconnection environment that connects these service providers with partner data centers throughout Japan.
In recent years, driven by the rapid expansion of AI workloads and growing demand for migrating on-premises virtualization environments to the cloud, there has been a rising need for sovereign cloud capabilities that enable customers to leverage flexible cloud infrastructure while keeping their data within Japan.
In response to this demand, AT TOKYO and Zadara have deployed a region of Zadara’s Federated Edge Cloud service, “Zadara Cloud,” within AT TOKYO’s data center environment, designated as the “Zadara Cloud AT TOKYO Region,” and launched the new service “ATBeX Edge Compute powered by Zadara.”
This service delivers an integrated edge cloud offering that combines compute, storage, and networking, designed for the AI era. By leveraging AT TOKYO’s connectivity environment, it enables both domestic data residency and high connectivity, thereby supporting customers in their cloud utilization and AI infrastructure development.

Key Features of Zadara Cloud AT TOKYO Region

1. Zadara’s Edge Cloud for the AI Era
Zadara Cloud provides an IaaS solution comprising virtual machines (zCompute, AWS EC2-compatible API), block, file, object storage (zStorage, VPSA), and virtual networks (VPC). For AI workloads, Zadara is aligned with the software reference guide for NVIDIA Cloud Providers (NCP) and offers GPU instances to support LLM training and inference for multi-tenant environments, as well as multimodal AI development.

2. AT TOKYO’s Connectivity Linking Global Clouds and Nationwide Networks
The Zadara Cloud AT TOKYO Region leverages AT TOKYO’s flexible and highly reliable connectivity environment to support private connections to public cloud services as well as internet connectivity. Customers can freely select their preferred service providers from the established ecosystem in an open environment.
Customers already using ATBeX or AT TOKYO data centers can seamlessly access the service using their existing infrastructure.

3. Technical Synergy
Zadara Cloud is built on a design philosophy that maximizes the use of a partner’s physical infrastructure and network connectivity by deploying a virtualization platform consisting of zCompute, zStorage, and zNetwork within the partner’s data centers.
AT TOKYO possesses facilities that meet international standards for power, cooling, and physical security, and features the high-density network aggregation environment provided by ATBeX. This collaboration is designed to fully leverage the strengths of both companies.

Future Outlook

The Zadara Cloud AT TOKYO Region, which will be launched through this collaboration, will operate as part of Zadara’s global Federated Edge Cloud network, spanning 25 countries and more than 500 locations.
Federated Edge Cloud is a distributed cloud architecture in which multiple service providers leverage their respective network connectivity to collaborate on a common platform.
AT TOKYO will support the nationwide rollout of Federated Edge Cloud services using ATBeX, working to strengthen Japan’s digital infrastructure and support the growth of customer businesses.
