Launch Joint Demonstration of Remote Monitoring for Intelligent PDUs

Meikyo Electric Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tatsumi Terachi; hereinafter “Meikyo Electric”) and AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President & Chief Executive Officer: Tatsuya Izumida; hereinafter “AT TOKYO”) will begin a joint demonstration on July 1, 2026, to evaluate remote monitoring of intelligent PDUs.^*

In this demonstration, an environment will be established to archive and visualize data using an intelligent PDU, the “Vertiv™ Geist™ Rack PDU,” together with AT TOKYO’s facility monitoring service “@EYE.”

The demonstration environment combines the rack operation-optimized functions of Vertiv™ Geist™ Rack PDUs distributed by Meikyo Electric, AT TOKYO’s @EYE service, known for its strengths in long-term data archiving and time-series visualization, and the ATBeX service, which delivers flexible private connectivity. This provides visibility into power usage from both real-time data and historical records, enabling detailed analysis of load trends at the device level and supporting operational decision-making.

This demonstration will be conducted using AT TOKYO Cloud Lab, a validation service available for use on a daily basis. AT TOKYO Cloud Lab enables customers to experience full-scale data center infrastructure management on a “start small” basis, down to the level of individual power outlet strips.

Building on this demonstration, Meikyo Electric and AT TOKYO will further explore data center infrastructure management models that can be deployed regardless of location or scale. In addition, the two companies will leverage this collaboration as a starting point to create new business opportunities by working with a range of partners and mutually utilizing their resources.

*An intelligent PDU (Power Distribution Unit) refers to a power distribution unit equipped with advanced functions in addition to supplying power.

@EYE is AT TOKYO’s proprietary DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) service. It features intuitive operability, CSV download functionality, and Web API integration, enabling users to monitor power usage both in real time and as archived data. While previously focused on collecting data from facilities within AT TOKYO data centers, the service will expand to support data collection from partner data centers via ATBeX, as well as a broader range of data.
