AT TOKYO to Launch ATBeX Takamatsu Access Point
in STNet’s Powerico Data Center
Facilitating Closed Connections to
Mega Cloud and Other Services in Shikoku Region

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Tatsuya Izumida; hereinafter "AT TOKYO") is pleased to announce the opening of the ATBeX^*1 Takamatsu Access Point (hereinafter "ATBeX Takamatsu AP") at the Powerico data center of STNet, Incorporated (hereinafter "STNet"). The service is scheduled to begin in fall of 2024.

AT TOKYO has been focusing on connectivity improvements of our nationwide network platform ATBeX in recent years. To meet the increasing need for mega cloud^*2 connections from regional areas, as well as to address the rising demand for regional dispersion of data centers to mitigate risks from large-scale natural disasters, we have increased the number of ATBeX access points across Japan, provided primarily from our data centers.

AT TOKYO Shikoku Center #1 (SK1) and ATBeX Takamatsu AP will be established within STNet’s Powerico facility to serve as a network base for ATBeX, enabling proactive and flexible responses to cloud connection demands and ensuring business continuity in the Shikoku region.

Furthermore, amid the accelerated adoption of government cloud^*3, we are seeing a growing demand from regional network operators and system integrators for connections to the mega cloud and related services. The ATBeX Takamatsu AP will allow businesses in the Shikoku region to securely connect not only to mega cloud services but also to various other services and connection environments offered by the ATBeX platform. This will also facilitate their access to both global and domestic services through our platform.

· Closed connections to the ATBeX Osaka Zone in both single and redundant configurations

· Closed connections to other ATBeX access points (APs) in various regions via ATBeX

With the opening of ATBeX Takamatsu AP, AT TOKYO aims to strengthen our nationwide business platform, enhancing convenience, efficiency, and safety for all our customers, while supporting their businesses throughout Japan.

*1 ATBeX (AT TOKYO Business eXchange)
A network service platform that interconnects multiple customer networks between AT TOKYO’s data centers and affiliated data centers.

A generic term for cloud service providers with a large market share and international services but not clearly defined by company name or service name.

An environment for using cloud services established and operated by a government to achieve integration, commonization, and standardization of administrative systems.
