AT TOKYO Launches New Service, ATBeX Closed Access Type-A,
Offering One-Stop, Closed Connections
From Customer Location to Cloud Services

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Tatsuya Izumida; hereinafter “AT TOKYO”) is accepting orders for ATBeX^*1 Closed Access Type-A^*2, a new service utilizing AT TOKYO’s network service platform ATBeX, starting today. This service will be fulfilled through collaboration between AT TOKYO and ARTERIA Networks Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Tatsuya Abe; hereinafter “ARTERIA”), a sister company within the SECOM Group, and it is expected to be available from the fall of 2024.

With accelerating cloud migrations of government or enterprises core systems, closed-network connections to cloud services using secured bandwidth and redundant configurations are highly sought after.
In response to these demands, ATBeX Closed Access Type-A offers a one-stop closed connection to the cloud platforms from customer locations with a secured bandwidth and a 2-route redundant configuration.

Leveraging its extensive access line services, ARTERIA provides dedicated and shared lines available from customer locations. A dedicated line is capable of handling large data volumes in metropolitan areas and can secure 1 Gbps bandwidth for all areas up to major cloud services^*3. Meanwhile, shared lines can be used anywhere across Japan including areas not covered by dedicated line services, using FLET'S Hikari^*4, etc., and can serve as a backup line for government cloud connections. Also, redundant configurations set independently between eastern and western Japan can mitigate the risks associated with wide-area disasters at low cost.

*1 ATBeX (ATBeX/AT TOKYO Business eXchange)
A network service platform that provides multiple customer network connections between AT TOKYO’s data centers and partner data centers.

*2 This service is comprised of access lines (dedicated and shared), relay routers, and cloud access lines, all of which are provided using ARTERIA’s DynaEther, Closed IP Networks, VANILA vCenterRouter, and VANILA PrivateRoute CloudConnect. The service area of the dedicated line is in accordance with the service area of DynaEther. The service area of the shared line is the same as the service area of ARTERIA’s access lines. VANILA PrivateRoute CloudConnect partially utilizes AT TOKYO’s ATBeX.

*3 The cloud services available with this service are AWS, Azure, Google Cloud™, and Oracle Cloud.
