AT TOKYO Opens Kansai Data Center #3 (KDC3) on April 1st, 2022

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Akira Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as “AT TOKYO”) announces that it will commence operations of its new urban-type data center, Kansai Data Center #3 (KDC3), on April 1st, 2022.

AT TOKYO currently operates data centers in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, and provides services to meet diversifying needs, including BCP in times of natural disasters, and for the establishment of hybrid environments to better leverage the use of cloud computing. Under the motto, “continuity, connectivity, and the co-creation of value,” we aim to create a platform that can support the future of society in Japan.

The new KDC3 data center will be AT TOKYO’s third data center located in the city of Osaka, and together with our existing centers, it will fulfill its mission as a digital platform for the Kansai region, providing excellent accessibility by its location, high space scalability, and flexibility to accommodate high-density configurations.

Following is an overview of the key features of KDC3:

1. Easy access, positioned in a prime location in central Osaka
2. High space scalability
3. Floor load and power load support for utilization as an urban server farm
4. Highly reliable, located in an area less impacted by potential hazards
