Japan Climate Leader’s Partnership (JCLP)
A Coalition of Japanese Businesses Aiming for the Realization of
a Sustainable Carbon Neutral Society

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Akira Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as “AT TOKYO”) has, as of November 1, 2021, become a Supporting Member of Japan Climate Leader’s Partnership (JCLP) which is a coalition of companies in Japan that are supporting the goal of net zero emissions worldwide by 2050, and making efforts towards the realization of a sustainable, decarbonized society.

As one of the major data center operators in Japan, AT TOKYO manages multiple data centers at locations across the nation, including Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. In recent years, environmental considerations in business operations has become one of the critical requirements for data center operators and for the businesses using our data centers, and so our contribution to the realization of a sustainable carbon neutral society is a pressing need.

Participation in JCLP demonstrates AT TOKYO’s commitment to support the progress to a carbon neutral society in line with the Paris Agreement. We are determined to contribute to the sustainable development of global and regional communities through our environmental practices.

AT TOKYO will continue to enhance our customer’s convenience for cross-industry connectivity and support creation of new value and business innovation, and realize a platform that supports the future of Japan, while focusing on a broad range of social issues of the time.

About Japan Climate Leader’s Partnership (JCLP)

JCLP is a coalition of businesses in Japan (202 companies as of December 2021) that aim to create a carbon neutral society, built on the idea that decarbonization is essential to economic development. The group’s total sales are 122 trillion JPY (1.1 trillion USD) and total electricity demand amounts to approx. 61 TWh.
It was set up in 2009 to encourage the business sector to develop a sound sense of urgency on climate action. Since April 2017, JCLP has been the Climate Group’s Regional Delivery Partner on RE100, EP100 and EV100 initiatives in Japan.
