COVID-19 Infection of Our Employee

AT TOKYO Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “AT TOKYO”) has confirmed that one AT TOKYO employee was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on August 19.

The affected employee took the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test on August 17, and was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on August 19.
The employee, who has no contact with customers, has been working remotely since August 17.

The infected employee had a meeting with two AT TOKYO related staff on August 16.
The infected employee is now recuperating at home since August 17, and the two AT TOKYO related staff have been working remotely since August 17.

There is no impact on our data center operations and customers with regard to this case.
We have already disinfected the office area where the employee works and the common areas.

In AT TOKYO, the following guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection have been implemented and are being practiced:

・Promoting remote work and off-peak commuting to all employees
・Ensuring all employees to measure and report daily body temperature to supervisor
・Requesting all visitors to our data centers and headquarter office to undergo body temperature screening, sanitize their hands at entrance, and wear face mask during their visit
・Ensuring sufficient cleaning, disinfection and sterilization in our data centers and headquarter office
・Ensuring all employees to keep social distancing in office rooms and other workspaces
・Partitions have been set up in meeting and office rooms for effective social distancing

AT TOKYO will continue to prioritize safety and health of our customers and employees and preventing the spread of infections in line with guidance from the relevant public health center and other entities.
