AT TOKYO Expands Network Connectivity Reach
Through Partnership with KINX
Customers of both AT TOKYO and KINX now have the opportunity
to access high-quality connectivity to Korea-Japan network

AT TOKYO (CEO: Akira Nakamura) and KINX(CEO: Jee-Wook Kim) have agreed to a collaboration to expand network connectivity reach on December 1st.

Through this partnership, customers of AT TOKYO and KINX can now interconnect to Japan and South Korea’s networks without needing to invest in costly infrastructure and development. What makes this special is the fact that customers do not need to invest in deploying physical infrastructure to either Japan or Korea. Customer will now have access to high-quality interconnection to the other region’s network.

AT TOKYO customers can easily interconnect with the customers who have a connection with KINX through the Korea~Japan subsea cable. Not only can these customers have access to KINX’s managed Cloud platform,‘CloudHub’, and the OpenStack-based cloud, IXcloud, and this is an excellent opportunity for Japanese companies as this would provide a more efficient solution than deployment.

KINX customers can connect to Japan-facing network through AT TOKYO’s ATBeX platform. The customer will be able to have interconnectivity access to Japanese Domestic Networks, Internet, Cloud Service Providers who have their presence in AT TOKYO. With AT TOKYO, being one of Japan’s largest data center providers, this is an excellent opportunity for Korean companies looking to expand into the Japanese market.

KINX CEO Jee-Wook Kim said:
“We are exploring all options to provide domestic companies with an easier way to expand their networks simply by connecting to KINX. Our partnership with AT TOKYO also originated from this goal. We hope and look forward to KINX and AT TOKYO customers flourishing through this joint network connectivity partnership.”

Akira Nakamura, AT TOKYO President and CEO, made the following comment:
