AT TOKYO Introduces SDN Technology
to Automatically Fulfill Customers’ Orders for ATBeX
Tapping into On-Demand Data Center Network Services

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Akira Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as "AT TOKYO") launches a new service using SDN (Software-Defined Networking*1) technology that automatically sets customers’ order information for ATBeX (AT TOKYO Business eXchange*2) with newly introduced ATBeX Orchestrator*3 that links to multiple systems.

This is AT TOKYO’s first service using SDN technology. By connecting conventional Customer Portal System*4 to ATBeX Orchestrator which has been newly developed for this time, the service enables our customers to promptly set up logical connections to AWS, GCP, and IBM Cloud on their own.
The on-demand service reduces the lead time for fulfilling a logical connection request to each cloud service from two business days to a few minutes (minimum).
The service is currently available in the ATBeX Tokyo zone. It will also be available in the ATBeX Osaka zone in the near future.

The followings are functions added to AT TOKYO Customer Portal System with the ATBeX Orchestrator:

1. Automatic validation of customer’s order information
2. ATBeX Orchestrator (automation system) interacting with API
3. Displaying up-to-date information of bandwidth capacity

[Connection via ATBeX Orchestrator]

Workflow automation covering ATBeX and each cloud service via ATBeX Orchestrator creates a programmable network with high flexibility and readiness in our data center, offering our customers more convenient and high quality network service at optimum cost.

AT TOKYO aims to provide on-demand network service that responds promptly to customer’s pressing needs by offering methods to remotely utilize our data center. We are planning to provide more real-time on-demand network services taking advantage of linkage and mutual connections with other service providers via ATBeX API.

AT TOKYO strives to build an environment in which our customers will be able to create innovative and valuable businesses, whilst growing as a platform with flexible mutual services and a global network hub that connects data centers in Japan and abroad. We will continue to provide mission critical operation and solid safety.
