AT TOKYO Becomes Direct Connection Point for Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute.

AT TOKYO’s “Premium Connect for Azure” launches soon.
Applications for connectivity via AT TOKYO’s “ATBeX” platform opened.

Tokyo, December 24, 2019 - AT TOKYO Corporation (headquartered in Koto-ku, Tokyo; President, Chief Executive Officer: Akira Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as “AT TOKYO”), announced today that it will establish a direct connection point for Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute at its Chuo Center facility (hereinafter referred to as “CC1”).
This newly established connection point (known as Tokyo2) will become the second such ExpressRoute site in Tokyo, and in addition to reducing communications costs, the direct connectivity will offer existing tenants of AT TOKYO reliable and predictable access to Azure. In addition, and in conjunction with the existing connection point, tenants and non-tenants alike will benefit from the new ExpressRoute site by having the ability to build a resilient high availability network, in turn strengthening their Business Continuity Management (BCM) capabilities.

AT TOKYO will now open requests for direct connections to Azure ExpressRoute via its “Premium Connect for Azure” service. AT TOKYO will also invite requests for connectivity via the “ATBeX ServiceLink for Azure” service, which is scheduled to be released in early 2020.

Overview and Features of the New Services.
Two types of service will be available:

1. Premium Connect for Azure
Fiber optic cable connectivity within AT TOKYO’s facility direct to Azure ExpressRoute Direct using either 10Gbps or 100Gbps ports.

2. ATBeX ServiceLink for Azure
Azure ExpressRoute can also be accessed via ATBeX, the Level 2 service platform that powers the AT TOKYO business community. ATBeX offers you to the capability to set network bandwidth according to your needs, with options ranging from 50Mbps through to 10Gbps.

As a dedicated data center building, the CC1 facility enjoys the warm support of its vast client base thanks to robust construction and support by high quality service. CC1 hosts multiple mega-cloud connection points, such as Azure ExpressRoute as announced today, which allows this facility to become a thriving location for our tenants to leverage hybrid cloud opportunities.
