AT TOKYO to Open New Data Center in Osaka
Operation Starting from April 2020
Provision of Carrier-Neutral Datacenter Services for use as Network Hubs
in Kansai Region

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Akira Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as "AT TOKYO") announces the opening of the new data center "DC12" in Kansai region in April 2020.
The DC12 will be a carrier-neutral data center to be established in NTT Telepark Dojima in Osaka’s Dojima district, a network communication hub in Kansai region.

With the recent recognition of the need for network redundancy in Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to avert extensive natural disasters and for advanced application of cloud connected services, customers’ demand for collaboration with data centers in Kansai region is rising.

AT TOKYO has previously announced the plan to establish the Kansai Chuo Center (abbreviated as KC1) for financial institutions in January 2020. The new DC12 will serve as a data center hub in Kansai region in response to customers’ growing anticipation for locational convenience and demands from cloud and other service providers.

Utilizing the DC12 jointly with the Chuo Data Center (hereinafter referred to as “CC1”), a network hub in Tokyo area, will support efficient construction and operation of customer’s network environment.
