AT TOKYO Data Centers to Set Use of Net-Zero Carbon Energy
as a Standard Specification from April:
Transition to Net-Zero Carbon Energy

AT TOKYO Corporation (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Tatsuya Izumida; hereinafter “AT TOKYO”) will adopt net-zero carbon energy as a standard specification for the electricity used at its data centers in Tokyo*1 from April 2024 to introduce 100% net-zero carbon energy*2.

Environmental considerations have become an essential issue in corporate management regardless of industry, thus data center operators and users too are expected to take measures to realize a sustainable, decarbonized society.

AT TOKYO has been offering a Customer Sustainability Support Program since October 2022 and, in April 2023, began offering Net-Zero Carbon Energy for Rack Colocation/Housing and Other Services. Now, our initiative expands to more data centers and services.
From April 2024, the electricity used by customers using our data centers in Tokyo for IT, air-conditioning, and office load will transition to net-zero carbon energy as a standard specification.

Introducing 100% net-zero carbon energy will result in virtually zero emissions of CO2 released from our use of about 130 million kWh/year of electricity*3.
Furthermore, we will continue introducing net-zero carbon energy for data centers outside Tokyo as well.
