AT TOKYO Supports Hybrid Network Connections to Google Cloud

Tokyo, April 25, 2018 — AT TOKYO Corporation (headquartered in Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Akira Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as “AT TOKYO”), today announced support for Google Cloud Partner Interconnect, a service from Google Cloud that enables customers to connect to Google Cloud Platform from anywhere.
Google Cloud Partner Interconnect is a new product in the Google Cloud interconnect family. Last September, Google announced Dedicated Interconnect that enables higher-speed and lower cost connectivity than a VPN, and has become the solution of choice for connecting on-premise data centers with the cloud.

With Partner Interconnect announced today, AT TOKYO will be able to offer connectivity services that enable customers using Google Cloud from within our data centers (CC1/CC2), to have in-house secure connections between their systems and the cloud environment. Our services will be provided via both regular dedicated lines and ATBeX, our interconnect platform that offers enhanced flexibility and simplification of the network environment. With the updated Partner Interconnect lineup, our services will widen the options available to customers for connections to Google Cloud Platform.

“Partner Interconnect gives Google Cloud customers even more connectivity choices for hybrid environments,” said, John Veizades, product manager, Google Cloud. “Together with AT TOKYO, we are making it easier for customers to extend their on-prem infrastructure to the Google Cloud Platform.”

AT TOKYO’s data centers are recognized for the superior robustness of their facilities and high quality services. Enterprises will now be able to obtain highly reliable hybrid cloud environment by combining various cloud services typified by Google Cloud Partner Interconnect with AT TOKYO’s colocation and related services.
